Who we are
Event Kent, part of Kent Students’ Union — a registered charity at the University of Kent’s Canterbury campus — has been representing and empowering students since 1967. Our friendly team of event experts is dedicated to helping create unforgettable experiences for our clients and their guests.
We have a dedicated events manager, technical team with high-spec technical equipment as well as a catering team, who are able to deliver your event requirements, no matter how complex. With hundreds of events under our belt, we are the perfect solution for any special occasion you may be planning.
By booking our facilities and services, you are helping us support students and contributing to the development of our student-led organisation. All profits get reinvested to continue growing and improving our services to students and the wider Kent community.

At Event Kent, we know how exciting planning for a special occasion can be. We have a range of services to suit any event and any budget. With affordable fees, tailored support, and over 2 decades of experience under our belt, we are the perfect choice for events in Canterbury.
Our flexible venues can host events including birthday parties, conferences, networking events, Christmas parties, school proms, wedding receptions, live music events, meetings, workshops, theatre performances, private parties, training days, awards ceremonies, fashion shows, exhibitions,team building, away days, recruitment centres, and a whole lot more.
Whether you are just looking for a venue to hire as a blank canvas for your gathering, or you’re looking for a more bespoke package with additional services such as catering, photography, entertainment or tech equipment, we are keen to work together to make your dream day come to life. We offer bespoke packages for any celebration, as well as set packages for children’s parties, school proms and budget-friendly wedding receptions.
